Which one of your ancestors would you most like to talk to?

I would spend a day with my great-grandfather - my father's grandfather, a memory of my father's own childhood. As a young man, GGF began his trade as a poor barber in the Fujian province of China. He saved enough to buy some land, grew sugar, and bought more land a classic rags-to-riches tale. One day he was walking down a road past the Chinese equivalent of a prison chain gang. He spotted an enormous man with kind eyes and, on impulse, bought the man's freedom. The prisoner was so grateful that he became GGF's servant at the family compound. My father remembered the giant man as the person who would carry my GGF in a chair from room to room during his old age. I hardly know a thing about GGF (or my dad's unusual childhood) but the glimpse of what I've heard is so intriguing.
