The first day of first grade felt like a big reunion. The boys all hugged each other and jumped up an down when they saw each other. Two things I love about E's school are that it's small and the kids stay together year after year.
E has a crush on the tallest girl in his class. He also claims to have a crush on his best friend, so I'm not so sure he's clear on the whole "crush" concept. So far, the best thing about school is recess, when the girls chase the boys around the playground. Sometimes he lets Tall Girl catch him. (Sign in to my neighborhood to see the cute pix...)
